Web Developer
Legend DigiTech is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both front-end and back-end web development and be proficient in working with WordPress.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain websites, web applications, and web services.
- Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces that meet client requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project requirements are met within given timelines and budgets.
- Ensure website and application performance, security, and scalability.
- Conduct on-page SEO optimisation for websites.
- Troubleshoot and debug website and application issues as and when required.
- Keep up to date with emerging web technologies, programming languages, and SEO best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in web development with expertise in both front-end and back-end development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience in WordPress and custom theme/plugin development
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and on-page optimisation techniques
- Experience with SEO plugins for WordPress, such as Yoast SEO
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console
- Knowledge of hosting panels such as cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
